Why We Are Different
YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT THE WHOLE FACE AND NOT JUST THE TEETH:
Having the best cosmetic results in your smile is about much more than placing veneers on the teeth and making them whiter. That is just part of what is needed to get optimum results….It is crucial to first look at where those upper front teeth are in relationship to the face…are those teeth set too far back…? Are those teeth not far enough down so that you don’t see them unless you smile or laugh..? Are the teeth angled towards the back of the mouth…. Do the teeth support the lip properly so that the lip can be it’s fullest?
I often see veneers that are placed on teeth and many of these crucial principles are ignored…instead, white veneers are bonded….improving someone’s smile takes a step back…how are the facial proportions? Is the lower jaw set back? How does the profile look? Do the upper front teeth show when the person is talking? If not, this will make a person look older…and not youthful.
